Not even Narcissus

Can find a definite reflection

He spoke

Of doxa and anti-doxa

But soon forgot that in the sun

That beat and melted all before it.

The fish were not interested

In gnomic indeterminacy

And the sweat poured from his head

Like a curtain and stung his eyes.
